SIC West Head

Missed the start due to flat on ride through Wahroonga to St Ives. Had to chase from 6 mins behind to catch the group b4 the Akuna turn-off. After a lucky call to turn right at McCarrs Ck Rd I finally caught the tailenders at the WH turn-off. While the "soft" option through Akuna looked appealing at that point I  decided to head to WH with the "quicks". Derek, Wade, "The Captain", Saffa Rob, Glynn, Jack, Wayne and myself headed out for the "7 Hills of Death" to WH. Unfortunately my early efforts had burnt all my matches so it was a limp to the WH turnaround and back to St Ives. Thanks to @dzasteros for "breaking wind" for me in the run along MVR back to the coffee shop. Check out my ride on Strava
