Day 3 Les Dix Alpes Stage 1 Como - Locarno

Bike Dreams converted firetruck which transports all camping furniture (tables chairs etc), cooking equipment, food, supplies - amazing!

 This first stage of the ride is along the scenic shores of Lake Como and through the pretty lakes district of northern Italy. A total of 145kms with mostly flat sections. The ride into Locarno for me was very scary as I got lost and ended up in a 7km motorway tunnel with trucks wizzing past!! Made it in safely and enjoyed a walk along the river bank at the campsite.
