l'Iseran had only just opened when we went through and the weather conditions were perfect. Today at l'Iseran the Ferrari and BMW bikers clubs were quick off the mark and being a weekend they were all up in the Alpes roaring up and down the passes. This is the highest paved mountain pass in Europe (2770m). The Cime de la Bonnette (2800m) is higher but it is not a mountain pass. It is a loop road that starts and finishes a few metres apart near the crossing of the Col de la Bonnette. It takes you up to a monument and lookout. Here are a few pics from a perfect day.
