After my return from Europe and "Les Dix Alpes", we decided it was time to escape the drizzle and cold winter conditions in Sydneyand head up to the "Top End" for some much needed warmth and sunshine. So we booked a campervan for a week from Darwin and headed up north. I packed my mountain bike with the intention of taking a few rides in the National Parks of the NT. We enjoyed a number of walks and swims in a variety of locations. These are all described on my travel blog http://peterkemptravelblog.blogspot.com.au I was able to get on the bike a few times and enjoyed cycling around some of the prettiest areas of wetland in the Kakadu region, as well as Litchfield NP (Rum Jungle) and the Charles Darwin NP in Darwin.
