100 Cols Day 9 Montcabrier to Castera-Verduzan

Another beautiful day weather wise and rolling hills up to about 250m elevation which suited me perfectly. The climbs were all very short however they followed one after the other in quick succession and wore us out by the end. Passing through wheat fields and vineyards the views and panoramas were terrific.
Great campsite at Castera-Verduzan beside a lake which you can swim in. We came into camp relatively early at 230pm which gave an opportunity to get the washing done and hung out.
Looking forward to a relatively short day again tomorrow and the ride into Pau for a hotel and rest day before we start the big climbs of the Pyrenees.
My cold is improving and should be better after the rest day. Garmin Connect link here Montcabrier Cycling by peterjkemp at Garmin Connect - Details
